A place in paradise!  Located on Holbox Island in Mexico, Holbox Dream is a small hotel located right on the beach and close to town. At Holbox Dream native and gourmet food options are plentiful. Holbox Dream provides both privacy and convenience for your stay.  Breakfast is included in the room rates at Holbox Dream as well!

This quiet retreat is a perfect getaway to paradise.  The Island of Holbox is located about 2 hours northwest of Cancun but still remains a small quaint fishing village of only 1500 permanent residents.  There are no cars allowed on the island so you'll need a bike or a golf cart to get around, or you can simply walk since the village itself is no more than 1 square mile around!

There's plenty to do here on Holbox if you have ideas beyond simple relaxation; boat excursions, snorkeling, kayaking, bird watching, or just walking on the beach looking for shells.  The whale sharks visit the island every year from June to September and we can help you arrange a tour if you would like.  This is an experience people remember for the rest of their lives and we have many guests that will return year after year.

The Holbox Dream Hotel

The hotel is managed by Virginie, a French woman.

She, together with the staff of the hotel, will be your guide for a better discovery of Holbox Island.

Holbox Dream is a quiet hotel equipped with all comforts, such as ventilators, air-conditioning, shower, swimming pool, and jacuzzi (only in high end rooms).

16 rooms with sea views, terrace with hammocks, and all are furnished tastefully with Caribbean style.

 

The island and its village

The island is 25 km long and 3 km wide. Its beaches seem unlimited and are characterized by calm waters and shells of different shapes and colors.

Holbox is the perfect spot for many species of protected plants and animals.

Between April and October more than 400.000 pink flamingos can be seen in the close lagoon. Additionally, tourists can appreciate other sea animals such as dolphins, turtles, and whale sharks.

Here, the sun is shining all year long and the average temperature is  80° F.

A 50% deposit is required at time of booking to hold your room, full balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date and will automatically be charged to the credit card you use. Reservations made within 30 days of arrival require payment in full at time of booking. 

Cancellation Policies

- Season 1 (1st May to 15th June & 16th Sept. to 15th Dec.): 10 days prior to arrival.
- Season 2 (6th Jan. to 30 April & 16th June to 15th Sept.): 20 days days prior to arrival.
- Season 3 (16th Dec. to 5th Jan. & from 16th to 23th March): 40 days days prior to arrival.

Cancellations must be made according to the schedule above to avoid a penality of 100% of deposit which is equal to 50% of the total itinerary.

EARLY DEPARTURE: we charge 80% per each night canceled.
NO SHOW : we charge 100% of deposit.
In case of cyclone, flood, or tsunami, we refund the totality of deposit to the reservations still not arrived.
In case of any refund for cancellation we charge 10% for administration and transaction fees unless you have purchased the travel waiver trip insurnace at time of booking your trip.
