Playa Palms Beach Hotel has been in operation since 1999 and has been visited and loved by a large number of satisfied guests over the years. It is now under new management that is committed to offering an even higher level of service and customer experience.
Playa Palms is a beachfront boutique hotel located on a pristine beach in the heart of Playa del Carmen. Our 39 units are designed to give our guests an out of the ordinary hotel experience in a timeless environment with a high level of comfort and functionality. Situated directly in front of the Caribbean, our units have a spectacular ocean view that can be enjoyed while lounging on a large private terrace or resting inside the tastefully decorated rooms.
We are located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, so our guests can have one foot buried in the soft white sand and the other ready to take just a few steps to visit the broad array of shops, restaurants and bars on and around the bustling 5th Avenue.
Our Rooms
Ocean View Studio
Our clients have found our ocean-view studios to be precious beachfront hideaways, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable vacation. They are stylishly furnished with personal details and offer a charming and relaxing atmosphere. The studios have a queen size bed and a built-in sofa, which can be converted into a day-bed for an additional guest. They are all equipped with a kitchenette with cooking appliances for preparing meals and drinks.
They all have a large private terrace to enjoy the ocean view and the warm breeze of the Caribbean Sea.
Ocean View One Bedroom
Our Junior Suites are spacious and artistically furnished. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and a sofa-bed for two extra people in the living room. The comfortable living room area has a TV and a complete kitchen with a dinner table for four people. As in all our units, the Junior Suites have a large terrace with a hammock and lounge chairs to enjoy the view of the magical turquoise Caribbean Sea.
We also have the option to create larger 2 bedroom Master Suites, with two baths and an even larger terrace.
Ocean Front Studio
These premium studios are located right in front of the ocean and offer a magnificent, undisturbed ocean view. They are intimate and charmingly decorated for an inviting and romantic atmosphere. As with our regular studios, they have a kitchenette for preparing your own food or drinks. And, of course, they have a large terrace perfect for enjoying the sea and the stars.

Booking & Cancellation Policy: A two-night deposit will be charged to your credit card at the time of booking. Balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival at the hotel. The deposit is refundable if cancellation occurs at least 14 days prior to your arrival date. Unused nights, no shows, and/or early departures are not refundable.
For Christmas and New Years reservations (Dec 21 thru Jan 5) a 50% deposit will be charged at the time of booking. The deposit is refundable if cancellation occurs at least 45 days prior to your arrival date. Unused nights, no shows, and/or early departures are not refundable.
